Just like last week in Ireland the foal market has polarized. It almost doesn’t matter on what basis. Obviously the foal needs to be a nice foal, good walker, by a fashionable or proven sire, possibly out of a good performing mare with a high official rating. Maybe she has already produced a top performer recently. You have to have on your page something that the market wants, if you don’t its not just a disappointment its an absolute disaster. They want it or they don’t! chalk or cheese. What you really don’t need is a stallion that has gone cold foals by a cold sire hardly attract a bid, regardless of the rest of the page. It’s a very challenging environment these days. Reply
