| At Newmarket today, as far as I can see, 40 stallions sired a yearling that went through the ring for 1,000 gns. Some sired more than one, for example: MASSAT(5) ULYSSES(5) TIME TEST(4) MOHAATHER(4) LAND FORCE(3) SERGIE PROKOFIEV(2) LOUP Y FERNANDEZ(2) MAGNA GRECIA(2) BATED BREATH(2) ADVERTISE(2) LOGICIAN(2) . Other sires on the list that raised my eyebrows were AUSTRALIA, HARRY ANGEL, KAMEKO, FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND and DANDY MAN. Subject to correction, 64 yearlings went through today and that doesn't include the NO BID's. . And lots more between 1k and 2k.
