He looked a bit like he did at Epsom maybe thats just how he is but to me he looked very big behind the girth, and after the race he was blowing like an old tractor, but he is horse that I find interesting. He is clearly pretty good and I think far too good for the St Leger. The runner up yesterday looks well capable of taking that. Now if Los Angeles ever gets really fit or just looses a bit of his considerable bulk he is going to be a very serious horse over 10 to 12 furlongs. He looks a lot more amenable than he did at Epsom and seems to be settling and learning his trade. He is not far off the top grade of 3yo's and they look to be better than the 4yo's so a bit of improvement would see him being a strong contender for the Arc. He is not a spectacular runner but a relentless galloper, and I don't think he does a lot more than get the job done. You wouldn't know what he had left in the locker but I feel there is a really good horse in there somewhere.
