Does anyone else think $6m was cheap? Have we reached a ceiling on thoroughbred values? This is a mare that has won the Breeders Cup twice, the best of the best. In the great scheme of things $6m is not really out of reach for most billionaires of which there are thousands in the world. She may well get a fair bit of that bck in prize money next year but obviously as a foundation mare I would have thought she was priceless, let alone the bragging rights for owning such a mare. I had her down for about $25m, have I lost the plot?
