| The 2023 Irish Derby will be held on Sunday. It used to be on a Sunday but not since 2011. The Curragh Racecourse and Dubai Duty free have agreed an extension to their partnership and next years Irish Derby prizemoney will increase to €1.25million- that is an increase of €250k. Dubai Duty free will also sponsor an additional five races on the day.
