| I am deeply disturbed by the fact that there is currently a meeting discussing the changes to the structure of racing. Why am I concerned? because in none of the preamble to the meeting about increasing the powers of the BHA has the word ACCOUNTABILITY never been mentioned. Furthermore they are declining to let it be known who is attending the meeting. Whatever happened to the promises of transparency? Sounds like another squalid carve up behind closed doors, which will probably enrich the racetracks and the administrators but will not deliver sustainable racing opportunities for everyone.
