National Hunt racing id not featured much on this site but today is the start of the 4-day Cheltenham Festival - the most important 4-day N.H. racing in the world. I am amazed by the number of Irish trained entries. I reckon there are 44 Irish trained runners today and 94 UK trained.
The major Gr 1 today has to be the Champion Hurdle ten runners (5 Irish/5 UK) and the hot favourite HONEYSUCKLE goes for a repeat of last years win. She is unbeaten - 14 runs - 14 wins. A legend.
