I wasn’t there but I was encouraged on many fronts. The mega headline prices were down but I would trade that any day for what appeared to be more strength in depth. A market that survived well without Shadwell and with a wider buying bench. Obviously it is a rarefied market and plenty will always be taken home because most who play at this level can pick and choose what they take home…. Absolute kudos though to the Barnetts who provided the sales topper. There aren’t many people who have been nurturing a family for as long they have that one. It took a major refresh at the time of Time Charter and it is my dream to get into it one day. Once I’ve managed that and the Niarchos’s Miesque tribe I shall shuffle off quite cheerfully!
