GALILEO'S first few crops were very moderate at the sales and it took awhile before he hit the headlines as a sire. FRANKEL has been given every chance from the beginning and he has been up there statistically from the start. Reply

I haven't looked at the numbers but my perception is that Frankel is not performing anywhere near the level of Galileo even in his early days. I have it in my head that he was getting 80+ winner a season by crop and many of them at stakes level. And don't forget in his early days he was competing for top mares with Montjeu and not necessarily winning that particular competition. Reply
