My advice is to wait until the last possible moment as it is going to be very dependent on the going. After a winter when it just would not stop raining we have had a cold dry spring with no rain for over 3 weeks. The track was quick enough at the Craven meeting and although they have been watering the grass is not very long. If it doesn't rain between now and the 2000 Guineas its going to be very quick ground and that will determine who runs, which horse handles it better will probably win. I was impressed by Chindit but the Greenham hasn't produced too many classic winners recently. It used to be such a good trial but has gone down hill lately. Reply
