Just another awful days racing on a surface that should never be used for G1 racing but an interesting angle given the conditions. Of the 4 G1 races 2 were won by horses sired by Pivotal and a third was by Le Havre who is out of Marie Rheinberg a Half sister to Polar Falcon who is the sire of Pivotal. The one bright light for me was the performance of Wonderful Tonight who on bare form looks to be improving. Of course it may just be that she goes in that type of ground better than any other, she is certainly built for it. And of course out of a Monjeu mare. (Gold dust?). Reply
