UK trainers should seriously consider regularly having runners in Ireland. 1. The prizemoney is much better. 2.Aidan O'Brien runs his best horses in UK/Abroad and his second/third rated horses race on Irish tracks. Now imo the UK trainers see his wonderful top rated Gr 1 horses in UK and it fears them off contemplating going over to Ireland because they cant compete against his might of quality they see racing in UK. Effectively the Ballydoyle runners they see in UK are scaring them off. But that is not the case in Ireland. Over here the O'Brien runners we see in the Group races are way below the class the UK trainers see running in UK. Todays results at The Curragh are a good example. Study the results. Reply
