Elite Aga Khan Broodmares For Redoute's Choice

Meanwhile, arriving safely in France yesterday where he will stand the northern hemisphere season at the Aga Khan's French stud Haras de Bonneval, Arrowfield's flagship stallion Redoute's Choice will serve a maximum 100 mares. Among them are 15 elite mares owned by the Aga Khan, among them undefeated Gr1 Arc heroine Zarkava. Other notable Aga Khan mares booked to Redoute's Choice include the young Gr1-winning mares Rosanara and Daryakana. The dams of Gr1 winners Shalanaya and Vadawina have also been selected to visit the champion sire who now has 97 individual stakes-winners, among them 21 Gr1 winners. The full complement of Aga Khan mares booked to Redoutes Choice is:

•Zarkava (Zamindar-Zarkasha): Champion filly, unbeaten winner of five Gr1 races
•Shareta (Sinndar-Shawara): winner of the Yorkshire Oaks Gr1 and Prix Vermeille Gr1 in 2012; her dam is a half sister to dual Gr1 winner Shawanda (Sinndar)
•Sagawara (Shamardal-Sagalina) : winner of the 2012 Prix Saint-Alary Gr1 in 2012, from a full sister to Arc winner Sagamix and closely related to leading young sire Sageburg
•Rosanara (Sinndar-Rosawa) : winner of the Prix Marcel Boussac Gr1 at two and 2nd in the Prix de Diane Gr1 at three
•Daryakana (Selkirk-Daryaba): winner of the Hong Kong Vase Gr1, she is a daughter of the Gr1 Prix de Diane and Prix Vermeille winner Daryaba
•Shalamantika (Nashwan-Sharamana): dam of the Gr1 winner Shalanaya and Gr2 winner Shankardeh
•Vadaza (Zafonic-Vadlamixa): dam of Gr1 winner Vadawina, and dual Gr3 winner Vadapolina
•Asharna (Darshaan-Ashtarka): dam of three Group performers, including Gr1-placed Ashiyla
•Katiyra (Peintre Celebre ex Katiykha): a Gr2 winner and third in The Oaks
•Ashalanda (Linamix-Ashaninka): a dual Gr2 winner
•Shamakiya (Intikhab-Shamadara): a Gr2-placed half sister to Gr1 winner Shamdala
•Shemima (Dalakhani-Shemaka): a dual Gr3 winner, she is a daughter of Prix de Diane Gr1 winner Shemaka
•Tanoura (Dalakhani-Takarouna): Gr2-placed, daughter of a Pretty Polly Stakes winner and sister to four stakes performers
•Sharesha (Ashkalani-Sharemata): the dam of three Group performers and a close relative to Derby winner Shahrastani
•Kerasona (Oasis Dream-Kerasha): a Listed winner in 2012, she is a half sister to juvenile Gr3 winner Keratiya
