| The week after Ascot is always a week when you look back at the performances and try to put them into some sort of meaningful context. I have been playing back the races over and over and there is one name that keeps popping up in some of the better runners. Dark Angel! he has had a really big week both as a sire and as a broodmare sire. He is proving to be a very top level stallion especially in the speed races. I know he is no gimme these days but he can really get the job done and it appears with a lot of different mares.
