Is City Of Troy a penalty kick? Penalty kicks are missed.
Hannon is very positive about Rosallion.
Rosallion's win in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardčre at Longchamp last season was 1400m in 1:18.23, ground "bon souple". They have changed the race distance a few times but that time was the fastest of 18 runnings at 1400m. If I adjust that time to 7 furlongs it becomes 1:18.69. The other 1400m race on that Arc card was the Group 1 Prix de la Foret (14 runners, 3yo+), a hot event with 13 group race winners, run in 1:17.17. Cachet, English 1000 Guineas winner the previous year was 13th. .............................. City Of Troy ran three races last year, all at 7f, in 1:23.96 (good); 1:26.03 (g/s); 1:25.85 (soft). The English 2000 Guineas is usually won in a time around 1:36 so City Of Troy may have prove he can run a fair bit faster if the ground is good.
I live in Co Tipperary and the weather has been bad for the last four months and it is only in the last few days that it has stopped raining.
This year there must be questions about how much training on grass was possible.
Bookmakers must be very happy selling City Of Troy at odds on.
