| I was watching a lot of racing over the past few days and I noticed the way racing is being covered by the tv commentators. One thing that struck me was that the prizemoney in a race is never mentioned. Now, when a major race is being televised that has huge winner prizemoney - say 100k + - then surely that is of importance in promoting racing. Why do they not mention prizemoney?
