In the current edition of the Kingsley Klarion, James Willoughby sets out a table of the top 20 stallions by % of runners with a RPR of 100+ (those with 100+ runners since 2019). The usual suspects appear i.e. Galileo, Frankel, Dubawi, Kingman, Sea the Stars - the top 5 - right down to Dark Angel in 20th. The surprises were the inclusion of Golden Horn and Ravens Pass, particularly the latter who stands at €7.500 at Kildangan. Neither are fashionable or highly-priced but surely provide value to suitable mares and breeders who are interested in producing an above average (albeit non-commercial) racehorse?
