I see the winner of yesterdays French Oaks CHANNEL [by NATHANIEL] cost only €18k as a yearling at Goffs and then fetched 70K some six months later at Arquana Breeze-Up Sales. Does that happen a lot? Does it mean perhaps conformation etc at yearling sales is ignored at Breeze-Ups as action on the track means more? I am not suggestion for a moment that CHANNEL has poor conformation !!! but you know what I mean!
