Some years ago Spendthrift Farm launched their "Share the Upside Scheme'. Basically if you used and paid for a nomination in the stallion's first and second season then you qualified for a lifetime nomination. Their stallion INTO MISCHIEF is an example. He started 2009 at $12,500 and then $10,000 in 2010. By his fourth year he was down to $7,500 but then his first crop started running. Breeders who used and paid for a nomination in those first two years got a lifetime breeding right. This year 2019, INTO MISCHIEF stands for $150,000.
