There are three Group 3 races at The Curragh today and I am delighted to see UK trained runners in all three races. Mick Channon (a runner in all 3 Group races) Archie Watson and Sir Michael Stoute being the other UK trainers represented. Then in the Irish Cambridgeshire two UK trainers David O'Meara and Michael Appleby have runners. I think it is great because we must buck the trend where it looks like Irish trainers are afraid to take the O'Brien clan on! Also, William Haggas won another Group race this week in Tipperary.
