It has been announced recently that a Dublin based Beverage Company called Magners Irish Cider will be the exclusive sponsor of jump racing's most prestigious race, namely the Cheltenham Gold Cup. I think it is a four-year contract. It is great that racing gets big sponsorship but I do wonder is it right that a Company that sells alcohol be allowed such a form of advertising. What do others think?
