Lancashire Oaks..... only 7 runners.... 1st £52,740.30 2nd £19,995.00 3rd £10,006.80 4th £4,984.80 5th £2,501.70 6th £1,255.50
Old Newton Cup ..... 16 runners........1st £62,250.00 2nd £18,640.00 3rd £9,320.00 4th £4,660.00 5th £2,330.00 6th £1,170.00

In the Lancashire Oaks only one runner will go home without prizemoney, whereas in the Old Newton Cup Handicap TEN runners will go home without a penny.
How can anyone justify saying the Gr 2 Oaks should have more prizemoney and the the Old Handicap less.

Which race will deliver the largest betting? Answer me that please.
