Only six runners and just the one overseas runner in the decisive winner URBAN FOX. This William Haggas trained winner (ridden by D.Tudhope) won with great authority and had the rest well beaten a long way out. The rest, the other five also ran's were three trained by Aidan O'Brien (second, third, fourth) and Mr Magnier was named as one of the owners of FOUR of the six runners - so he took second, third, fourth, fifth. The UK trained winner was up until today classified as a handicapper. Two starts ago she won a handicap off a rating of 97 and was since placed 4th in a Gr 2 at R.Ascot (4.5 lengths + off the winner). More UK trainers should follow his example and take on the monopoly we are seeing in Irish racing these days.
