| There are great informative opinions being aired on other threads at the moment and I prompt the question " How do we breed a certain distance?". What I mean is if you know the best distance of your mare - say it is 6fur - then if you want to breed a miler from her do you do simple mathematics and send her to a pure 10fur sire? That is too simple isn't it? So tell me please how you approach the effort of trying to breed a specific distance runner.
