| What is the best way to measure a stallions ability to upgrade his mares or is it guesstimation ? I thinks there's no point in taking the best of a sires runners because by definition they are the exception. How should mares who are unraced but well related be considered when trying to evaluate a sires performance ? How do people do this for themselves ?
