At Fasig-Tipton yesterday, the 4yo champion SONGBIRD was sold for $9.5million to Mandy Pope. Also,at the same sale, the Champion TEPIN was sold for $8million to M.V.Magnier.
In all, the One Day Sales grossed $74,200,000 for 115 horses sold producing an average of $645,217. No, the world hasn't gone mad - I think.
