Racing at St Cloud was abandoned today after the first race. There were two Gr 1 races and a Gr 3 to be held with many runners from UK and Ireland. Protesters apparently made up from French Owners, Trainers and Breeders blocked the entry to the parade ring and protested about the planned reduction of funding (about 25 million euro) for the racing industry.
