Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott have been fined $5,000 after being found guilty of conduct prejudicial to the image or interests of racing, reports AAP. Waterhouse & Bott pleaded not guilty after they were charged under Australian Racing rule 175A. The charge related to an incident at the Breakfast with the Stars trackwork session at Randwick on 4 April, whereby horses nominated by their Tulloch Lodge stable were substituted for horses that were not authorised to participate in the session. The trainers have been advised of their right to appeal.
