The first foal of the regally bred Noble Mission (Galileo-Kind, by Danehill), the brother to champion Frankel and a three-quarter brother to Bowness Stud shuttle stallion Bullet Train, was born at Woodspring Farm in Kentucky last week, reports bloodstock.racingpost.com. The new arrival is a filly out of the unraced Afleet Alex mare Forgotten Miss, herself a half-sister to dual Gr3 winner Woodlander. Bred by Prince Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte operation, Noble Mission won 9 of his 21 starts including three Gr1 triumphs in the Champion Stakes, Tattersalls Gold Cup and the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud. Retired in 2014 to stand at Lane's End Farm in Kentucky in partnership with Juddmonte Farms, Noble Mission covered 146 mares at a fee of US$25,000 last year. Reply
