Hi, I'm sending a maiden mare over to France to visit a stallion in Normandy,
She is not yet registered as a broodmare, I hadn't intended doing so until all was well and she was safely in foal. The stud over there tell me that they will have to register her with the French National Stud Authority - is this necessary, and does that mean she won't have to be registered with Weatherbys as a broodmare on her return ?
I have never sent a mare over there before, so it's all new to me.
