Champion US galloper Arrogate had his final workout on home soil on Sunday before shipping to Dubai for the US$10 million Gr1 Dubai World Cup on 25 March, reports Blood Horse. The world's highest rated racehorse was given an easy time galloping over seven furlongs in 1:25. "The track was sort of dull, but he looked fantastic," said trainer Bob Baffert. "He went around like he usually does, never taking a deep breath. He's got to be 100% for me to take him, and he leaves tomorrow [Monday]." Baffert said Arrogate would just go through the motions once he landed at Meydan racecourse. "He won't do much once he's there," the Hall of Fame trainer said. "Gallop a little bit, maybe breeze - but he's pretty ready." The Juddmonte Farms-owned Arrogate will become the richest North American racehorse of all time if he wins the Dubai World Cup, surpassing the US$14,746,218 earned by California Chrome.
