The powerful Snowden yard will be represented by two runners in Saturday's $3.5 million Gr1 Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill. The stable had accepted with four horses, namely Pariah, Invader, Gunnison, and Khan, but have decided to only accept with Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes runner-up Pariah and Gr2 Todman Stakes runner-up Invader. "With Pariah I was only holding back because I wanted to make sure. The Diamond was his main race and I wanted to be sure he'd come back and recovered," co-trainer Paul Snowden told racenet. "He worked really good (sic) this morning [Tuesday] and I'm more than happy to take him there." As for Invader, who is raced by a high profile syndicate including Newgate Farm, the China Horse Club, Aquis Farm, and the Kentucky-based WinStar Farm, Snowden said: "Invader won't be out of it at all. The weather is one of the major factors in changing our mind to run him." He added: "His Todman run was excellent and he gets through a soft track." Reply
