ATC Gears Up For Hot Apollo Stakes Day

While Winx is a red-hot favourite for tomorrow’s Apollo Stakes on the opening Day of the Chinese Festival of Racing, the Australia Turf Club is going all out ensure patrons are kept as cool as possible. With temperatures at the track expected to reach the low 40s, the ATC will have the on-course air conditioning on from before dawn. Jackets and ties will not be required in the Members, and hydrating mist fans are being placed around the track’s facilities. Concierges will have free sun-screen for patrons in addition to the free extra water stations that are being provided.
