Sir Prancealot, Europe’s Champion Freshman Sire, will shuttle from Tally Ho Stud in Ireland to Cornerstone Stud in South Australia from 2017. With 32 individual winners Sir Prancealot was Champion First Season Sire by both winners and prize money finishing ahead of Helmet and Frankel. Included in the long list of winners were Gr3 winner Madam Dancealot and Listed winner Sir Dancealot. Sir Prancealot will travel from Tally Ho with Zebedee (Invincible Spirit) who has shuttled to Cornerstone Stud for the past two seasons. "The O'Callaghans have been a pleasure to deal with and with the ongoing assistance of Johnny and Susie McKeever we are delighted to be standing another leading sire for Tally Ho Stud," explained Cornerstone's Sam Hayes. "It takes something special to beat the likes of Frankel in a sire’s premiership. Sir Prancealot and Zebedee are upgrading mares with exceptional consistency and that is one of the benefits of breeding to proven stallions." A precocious 2YO who won his first two starts including the Listed National Stakes, Sir Prancealot went on to run fourth in Gr2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot behind Dawn Approach and fourth in the Gr1 Prix Morny at Deauville before winning the G2 Doncaster Flying Childers Stakes at his last start. His fee will announced in March. Reply
