17yo French National Hunt sire Martaline, Haras de Montagu, has had his fee increased from €10k to €15k for the coming season making him the highest priced jumps sire ever I'd reckon.
Dunno if his sales averages , €40k 3yo average Ireland and UK, warrant that rise, but I suppose it's a case of supply and demand for his services and they're probably aiming at increasing his longevity by restricting his books.
