| At Keeneland in the US, former Coolmore shuttler and triple Gr1-winning champion European sire Galileo (Sadler's Wells-Urban Sea, by Miswaki) celebrated an elite success when 5YO mare Photo Call (Galileo-Theann, by Rock of Gibraltar) scored by 2.25 lengths for trainer Todd Pletcher in the US$400,000 Gr1 First Lady Stakes (8 furlongs) for 3YO+ fillies & mares, over fellow 5YO mare Tepin (Bernstein-Life Happened, by Stravinsky) & 4YO mare Celestine (Scat Daddy-Mona Mia, by Monarchos). Originally raced in Ireland, Photo Call improved her record to 6 wins (including the Gr1 Rodeo Drive Stakes) and 7 placings (including the Listed Perfect Sting Stakes, Gr3 Beaugay Stakes & Gr3 La Prevoyante Stakes) from 21 starts for US$827,102 earnings.
