Danielle Johnson will be reunited with Australian Oaks winner Sofia Rosa (Makfi-Bislieri, by Encosta de Lago) in Australia on Saturday, reports NZ Racing Desk. Following the suspension of Michael Walker, Johnson has been booked to ride the 4YO Makfi mare in the Gr1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) at Flemington. Johnson won four races on the Stephen Marsh-trained Sofia Rosa last season, including the Gr2 Royal Stakes and the Gr3 Lowland Stakes. They were also first across the line in the Gr1 New Zealand Oaks, only to be relegated to second after an inquiry.
