At Saratoga racecourse in the US, two daughters of dual champion sire Tapit - Pretty City Dancer (Tapit-Pretty City, by Carson City) & Sweet Loretta (Tapit-Ithinkisawapudycat, by Bluegrass Cat) - shared top honours when dead-heating for first in the US$350,000 Gr1 Spinaway Stakes (7 furlongs) for 2YO fillies, over fellow filly Cherry Lodge (Bernardini-Wilshewed, by Carson City). Pretty City Dancer improved her record to 3 wins from 4 starts, while Sweet Loretta advanced her record to 3 wins from 3 starts.
