In a post below TOTH makes the comment "There is more diversity in France and the prize money and premiums sustain that owner base and racing understands that it needs the diversity amongst owners or the spectacle is devalued." and I find those words very interesting. Can anyone please explain to me exactly how the French system works. To start off - how much do French Breeders pay to qualify their horse for all those bonus's ? And then there are the Owner's premiums - how much do they get and where does the money come from?
