At Deauville in France overnight, dual Classic winning 3YO French filly La Cressonniere (Le Havre-Absolute Lady, by Galileo) maintained her perfect record when scoring an easy 2-length win for trainer Jean-Claude Rouget in the Gr2 Prix de la Nonette (10 furlongs) for 3YO fillies, over fellow fillies Jemayel (Lope de Vega-Nawal, by Homme de Loi) & Lakalas (Turtle Bowl-Nazlia, by Polish Precedent). La Cressonniere will now head towards the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in October after extended her record to 8 wins (including the French 1,000 Guineas & French Oaks) from 8 starts. "The jockey told me it was very, very easy and was just like a canter in the morning," said Sylvain Vidal, racing manager for her joint-owner Gerard Augustin-Normand. "She did something special and Jean-Claude was very happy with her." He added: "She will not have had a hard race as it was very easy for her, and she will now be going straight to the Arc." Reply
