| I was shocked a bit by the rise in the Darley UK fees for their stallions. Now my eyebrows are raised again to see that Whitsbury Manor Stud has released its stallion fees for 2014, with its newest recruit SWISS SPIRIT set to stand his first season at £4,500. My goodness the son of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT managed to win a Group 3. How on earth can they justify a starting of Group 3 sprinter sire at UK£4,500? Are they mad or what.....
