High profile Australian owner-breeder Paul Makin, who also has considerable bloodstock interests in Europe, will hold a significant dispersal of his stock at Goffs November Sale in Ireland. According to thoroughbreddailynews.com, Makin's draft, to be offered by Castlebridge Consignment on his behalf, will comprise 25 horses. Among the headline lots will be recent Gr1 Irish Oaks winner & Gr1 Prix Diane runner-up Chicquita, and a Galileo half-sister to Gr1 Epsom Derby winner Pour Moi. Broodmares in the draft include Gr1 winner Fleeting Spirit and Funsie. The latter is dam of Gr1 Epsom Derby winner Authorized as well as 2YO Hydrogen who sold for a European-high 2.5 million guineas in 2012 as a yearling. Paul Makin said the dispersal would be without any reserves, adding to the obvious attraction for buyers. Reply
