Trainer Richard Hannon saddled yet another winner of the Vintage Stakes Gr 2 at Goodwood yesterday. He has won this 2-y-o race many times. The winner TOORMORE is by ARAKAN out of a mare by DANETIME. Next dam is by PERSIAN BOLD. Not 'classic' breeding is it although bookmakers have made him 25/1 for next years Guineas ! He cost 36k as a yearling. ARAKAN is already sire of the Hannon trained DICK TURPIN and TRUMPET MAJOR.
