I was looking at some of next weeks entries and I came across a Maiden Hurdle at Wexford that has 73 declared runners. Technically 57 of those are numbered to be balloted out. Is this sort of balloting sustainable? How long can owners keep putting up with this nonsense of not being allowed run their horses? How can trainers properly train their horses when they can't get them on the track?
