Six races at Meydan yesterday for six lucky owners who pocketed total win prizemoney of uk£206,130. Six lucky owners yes? Well, not quite. Godolphin won 2, Hamdam al Maktoum won 2, Ahmed al Maktoum and Sultan bin Khalifa al Nahyan were the other two winning owners. How international is that? Don't get me wrong - the races are there for the winning but - they are not open to all comers. Each intended runner at Meydan has to qualify to their selected standard. Are we right here and in UK to give Meydan racing the coverage it gets? Reply
